A Set of custom knives for a Woodsman

This week I am posting a set of custom knives.

The top knife has a blade just about 4 inches long
and has a nice drop point blade.

The bottom knife is a smaller knife set up for
wearing as a neck knife with a blade about
2 1/2" long.

Both of these knives have a lighter patina aged
finish and file worked spines.

They also both have some really nice aged
old rough cut maple handles.

Both of the sheaths were hand stitched
and antiqued.

If you haven't had a chance to check out
Edge and Care its available on Amazon as an
E-Book and has been in the top 100 in metal work.
Thank you

  1. Beautiful looking knives there Matt - those old aged handles really finish the blade off a treat, great work!

Hey Matt, sorry if I missed it, but do you have like a post explaining how you got started in knive making? Would love to read it if there was something available!

I don't know if I have a post about that. Maybe in the future I can do that. Thank you for the post.

  3. Wow these are beautiful. They look very sturdy too - are they designed with a specific application in mind?
